These are the charges that can arise on top of the hire itself. They are published so you know about them before you book, not after. Hire rates are quoted per job — check availability and we will price it.

Charged where a managed setup is held up because the site is not ready or accessible. The first 30 minutes are free.

Charged where we attend as booked but the job cannot go ahead — no access, site not ready, or no permit in place. Transport costs are charged in addition.
£95.00 + transport
Where we attend outside working hours and the fault is not ours — most commonly flat batteries on a dry hire that have not been monitored. Attendance is subject to availability and site conditions. Plus mileage.
No charge where the equipment itself is at fault.
£85.00 + mileage
Charged where equipment comes back excessively dirty or contaminated. Fair wear and tear is never charged for. Above the minimum, charged at cost.

Delivery and collection are quoted with your hire as a single carriage charge covering both journeys, based on distance.
Deposits. Hirers without an approved credit account pay 25% of the hire, minimum £75, before dispatch. It is set against the final invoice.
Payment terms on approved accounts are 14 days from invoice.
Cancellation. Inside 24 hours of despatch, 1 day's hire plus transport already incurred. A 4-way inside 48 hours, 2 days' hire — it is our whole fleet and cannot be re-let at short notice.
Loss or damage. Replacement values are listed per item in our schedule of values, available on request.
VAT. We are not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added to any of the above.
These charges form part of our Terms of Hire (clauses 8, 9 and 12). Figures may be revised; the version in force at the time of your booking is the one that applies, and is confirmed on your quotation.
